I’m Back, and I’m Not Alone

I went on my bloggy break with an inkling.  I had the suspicion that things were going to change and I knew exactly how they were going to change.

Of course, the first time, there is doubt.  Not as much doubt as hope, but still a bit of doubt.  And so I waited a week longer, knowing that after that much time had gone by, that it was pretty likely my inkling was accurate.

Early on the morning of Friday, January 21, my hunch became reality with the appearance of two pink lines.  That’s right folks, I’m pregnant.  Of course, since the majority, if not all, of you reading are family, friends, or friends of family, you have already heard this glorious announcement.

So, change is definitely upon us, and it’s one of the greatest kinds.  Casey and I are both super excited about this next part of our lives and to put it bluntly, I’m so glad it’s my freakin’ turn!
