Karen came to visit Mom, Abel, and I yesterday afternoon. We were hoping to do something “autumny” outdoors, maybe go to a local fall festival, but the weather was not cooperative. So instead we had a warm dinner, mulled cider, and pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.
Oh, and we took funny pictures wearing silly Halloween glasses. Looking at them after was worth staying home.
Yes, I realize they are kind of creepy in addition to being silly. But hey, it is Halloween weekend. I hope they mostly made you laugh though!
