Abel had his first tub bath tonight and I think he quite enjoyed it.
He didn’t cry or scream, just wiggled a little and mostly lounged contentedly.
And afterwards, I wish we could capture it better, but boy has some soft and wild hair that sticks up all cute and fuzzy after a shampooing.
So another step in the boy is growing up direction. At least this one gets him all cuddly and yummy smelling.

I love the smell of a freshly bathed baby. I can sit here and imagine what it would be like to hold him. when I saw the photo of him with the washcloth covering his parts, I thought of Ruth. There is a series of photos of her at his age. I covered her the same way. :o) One of them is a favorite of mine.
Ah, the nice thing about these times that are checked of the list of firsts, you are able to document them so wonderfully. :o)
