On Friday night, Casey and I got dressed up and went to his company Christmas party. It was our first date, just the two of us, since Abel was born.
Each room was themed around a different location, with drinks and eats from around the world. I think my favorite dish was a seared chicken breast with mole sauce. Yum.
Then there was the awesome fire where we made s’mores and I got a delicious cup of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows for dessert.
The sweetest part, though, was spending quality time with Casey and then coming home to tip toe quietly together into Abel’s room for a few moments of the parental bliss of watching him sleep peacefully.

You look fantastic Christie! Hard to believe you have a three month old baby! Glad you had such a good time. Hurray for free babysitting and a peacefully sleeping baby when you arrived home.
