Our camping trip was wonderful and I’ll share about it at some point. But right now I am just soaking up our time in Vermont. My heart is so full of love for this home state of mine and it’s glorious summertime. We have been blessed with amazing weather – just right warm during the day, with plenty of sunshine and happy cloud adorned blue skies, and cool nights that beckon us to pull on socks and sweatshirts and cuddle up against the crisp evening air sweeping in through open windows.
The week is full of things to do, mainly helping a friend prepare for her wedding. I am so glad to be reunited with her and have time to catch up and talk things out and help put together the final touches of her big day.
When I’m not helping her, I’ll be immersing myself in the joy of being here in my happy place. Content in the comfort of this beautiful place where I grew up and where I thrive and find such great peace; peace I encourage to infiltrate my soul so I can carry it with me when my visit is over.
Right now so thankful this visit won’t be over until a week from today, when I’ll travel back south with my sweet little family, revitalized and ready to conquer – and celebrate – our every days.
