Casey got a call on Friday about going to Texas for work… for a month… starting today. Thankfully, I already had a trip to Vermont planned, so we just extended it a week. And it’s not like we have to go an entire month without seeing him, because he’ll be home most weekends… though the first bit will be sixteen days.
I am going to miss him tons – I already do – but it will make it much nicer to spend a chunk of the time in Vermont! Mr. Abel and I are headed out early tomorrow and I can’t wait to just get up there and settle in for soaking up some more beautiful Vermont summertime!
