Road Trip!

Tonight my Mom and sister will come to my house for the night and then tomorrow morning, bright and early, we're headed out on an adventure! My sister is moving more than half-way across the country for work (and amazing experiences galore, I'm sure!) and we're driving out there with her.

Tomorrow we'll drive from my place in Aldie, VA to St. Louis, MO for the night. We're staying at this awesome Marriott at St. Louis's Union Station.

There's talk of having a relaxing drink, and maybe a snack, at the Hard Rock when we arrive in the evening, and of course we'll see the Gateway Arch before leaving the city.

On Saturday, it's back on the road from St. Louis, through Kansas, Kansas, and more Kansas, to Colorado Springs, CO.
In Co. Springs, we'll stay the night and rest before getting up on Sunday morning to go to our final destination, and my sister's home for the next three months, Creede, CO. Creede is located in the middle of the Rio Grande National Forest- a major change from the concrete jungle of Philly!
Her job is at the Creede Repertory Theatre, a nationally renowned theatre... even though it's in the middle of nowhere. We're hoping to check things out and help her get settled a bit on Monday, and then Mom and I will drive back to Co. Springs for the night to catch an early flight on Tuesday morning.

It's an ambitious trip, but we're so excited for it. It's unlike anything we've ever done together!

I wont be posting during the trip, but I'll be back on Wednesday, no doubt with lots of photos and stories to share!
