I had a fantastic Easter weekend and I hope I wasn't the only one! The weather was delightful, with the sun shining and great temperatures and breezes for having the windows open and the condo aired out.
Thursday was my short day, so I got home early and started working on a sewing project (which is shown in completion below!). Then Thursday evening I went to the Maundy Thursday service at church.
On Friday, I got up and got my cleaning and tidying chores out of the way, worked on the above mentioned sewing project, brough some cake to work (even though it was my flex day off), got some lunch at Chipotle (yum, yum, their salad and chips and guac rule!), and then worked on my sewing project most of the afternoon. Then of course I went to the Good Friday service at church.
Saturday was spent on the sewing project, as well as some errand running. I had a good coupon for Michaels, as well as a gift card from Christmas, so I went and got some prizes. I'll be sharing at least one creation from some of the supplies in the next few days!
Finally, on Sunday, I slept in a bit and then got up to go to the late Easter service with my Hubby. I was so glad to have him there. After church, we went back to the condo and I made waffles, which I ate with strawberries and Cool Whip. I've been craving waffles for weeks and they were delicious!
After such a great weekend, I'm looking forward to a week filled with completed projects, lots of reading, and plenty more sunshine!
