My shopping is done and most everything is wrapped. I still have a few handmade gifts to complete, but I’m feeling really good. I wanted to get everything done over the weekend, but I’m kind of glad for some tasks so I can keep busy between now and when we head north.
Things would have been a little better, but traffic tonight was absolutely horrendous. Fortunately, the Christmas music in the car and a little prayer for patience got me home in good spirits.
I only have one full day of work left this week and that is tomorrow. Wednesday will be my flex day, Thursday is a half day holiday, and Friday is a full day holiday. We’re hoping to head out Thursday night and I’m excited to spend the next few days in preparation for the trip home and the celebration of Christmas!
