Snow Day!

No, that post title does not mean we had the day off because of snow, but it does mean that it snowed enough to stick for the first time today!

I think there was more snow in the city where I work than where we live, but the dusting looks pretty on the trees.  The only part I didn’t like is that I’m driving Casey’s car this week while mine is getting fixed and his car has big rims, low profile tires, and it’s rear wheel drive.  That’s a little scary to drive in the snow when you’re not used to it!

Fortunately, I made it home safe and sound.  I finished my Christmas cards and had a yummy dinner, followed by some hot cocoa and two delicious snickerdoodles on a pretty Christmas plate.  After being up late last night making cards, I am glad they are done and I’m hoping to go to bed much earlier tonight… like after I write this post.
