Today was my last full day of work until the New Year. My commute was not horrendous, especially because I took a different route for a change of scenery. When I got home, I took a quick refreshing shower, dressed in cozy jammies, and used some lavender lotion on my arms for a relaxing scent the rest of the evening.
I was tempted to eat cookies for dinner, but I resisted… not that I wont have some for dessert! I’ve completed a couple of make gifts and only have a few more to finish. Once those are done and wrapped, I’ll only have housekeeping and packing left before our travels.
I have tomorrow off and look forward to getting everything completely done so that I can go to work for a half day on Thursday with no anxiety about being ready on Thursday night when it’s time to head north.
Christmas is just a few days away and I’m excited for it and the time we’ll spend at home the week following!
