Since Abel now follows toys, sometimes talks to them, and recently kind of swats at them, floor time is no longer just about lying there, flailing his limbs. And since we don’t have a play mat with those convenient little arches for toys, I decided to improvise for the times I’m not down there with him playing along.
It may not be fancy, but it works. And Abel sure likes it, evidenced by his smiles and joyful chats with his turtle and lion friends.
