Last week I prayed there would be proper fall weather while we visited Vermont and boy did today deliver. It was cold overnight and we snuggled up in long sleeves and socks this morning, but the daytime was filled with sunshine that warmed everything it could reach. Tonight it is cool again, inviting us into cozy pajamas and extra blanket adorned beds.
I’m hopeful this beautiful balance of fall weather will continue through the weekend, proffering the perfect atmosphere for enjoying the Fair and all it’s goodness, including rides on the Ferris Wheel, settling in to watch tractor pulls, late night hot chocolates, and noshing on warm donuts drizzled with maple frosting.
Holy crap, I love the Fair. And this weather? This weather just makes it more outstanding.
