Three hundred and sixty days ago, I married my best friend. This means that five days from now, on August 9th, we will celebrate our first wedding anniversary.
In honor of that special day, I'm posting some pictures from the original big day. I'd post closer to the actual date, but we're leaving tomorrow for a one year anniversary trip and won't be back until next Wednesday.
To begin, here we are exchanging rings.
The picture on the left was taken in front of the "church with the red door," which is where my mother attends and where we were married. The picture on the right was taken on the gazebo where many of our formal portraits were taken.

After plenty of formal portraits were taken, Hubs and I headed to the reception in his other pride and joy, his car.
After some mingling, we took some more formal portraits by the river. These were some of my favorites- I just love the greenery and the lighting.
Hubby doesn't like this next one, but it's one of my faves. It was taken while we danced our "first dance" to "It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw.
I know so many people say it, but it's because it's true: my wedding day was one of the best days, if not THE best, of my life. There was love and laughter and all sorts of fun going on. I have an amazing family who helped create the day, and I still get emotional thinking of how hard they worked before, during, and after. So, tomorrow we're off to celebrate the wonderfulness of anniversaries, marriage, love, and devotion. Check back next week for pictures of our trip!
Blessings and Happy Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Weekend, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday!
