Another week gone by with plenty more to give thanks to God for. Today I'm at home from work for my "flex day" and I've been cleaning. For some this may be a pain, but I actually enjoy it. After I'm done, it feels so good and I am thankful for a place to call my own and keep tidy.
While I type, little Lucy Goose-y is blessing me with some lovins, all cuddled with her head and front paws on the part of my lap that is not covered by my laptop. I'm thankful for cuddly moments with her or her sister because they don't happen very often. My kitties are social enough, they just aren't big cuddlers.
Last night was a lot of fun at the Steve Miller concert. I'm thankful that Hubby not only has kept his job during tough times at his company, but that many of his coworkers are all able to be friendly and spend time outside of work together.
Tonight we're going to dinner with some friends and tomorrow night I'm going out with a friend from work. Then on Sunday I'm headed to Philly to spend some time with my sister. I'm thankful for all of these opportunities too.
