Hubs and I finally had our cake.

We were only ten days late, but sometimes late happens when you are blessed with lives of opportunity.

Also known as we've been really busy!

This summer really has been kind of crazy, but I'm so thankful to be able to take a moment with him to participate in a wedding cake tradition...

Although I do find it kind of strange that we followed this tradition when we didn't do many other traditional things. I mean, I didn't even toss a bouquet!

Aw well, such is life. I'm just grateful for our love and our marriage. The first year was great and I can't wait to see what and where the rest of our years will bring us!

Hmm, didn't I pretty much say that same thing yesterday? I must really mean it. :)
