On Tuesday, Mom and I got up bright and early to get to the airport in Co. Springs. We flew from there to Atlanta for a layover and then to VA. Mom had a layover in VA before flying to VT and I was picked up at the airport and brought home just to head back out to the Pioneer Woman cookbook signing.
I'd been to a signing at this Borders before, but it wasn't nearly as packed as this! From where I was standing (in the travel book section), this was to the left...She was really sweet and kind. She said a few things, answered a few questions, but then said we all knew about her so she wanted to get to the signing so she could find out a bit about us.
I waited in line an hour for her signature, and there were still like a hundred or more people behind me waiting! She was really nice though, asked everyone how they were doing, and made sure that everyone got a good picture.
It was a great finale to an awesome weekend. I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to go on such a trip with two of my favorite ladies, and then to finish it off by meeting someone who's life I admire; it was amazing!
