As I expected, the days following our big road trip involved much rest and recovery. I spent most of the weekend around the condo, finishing up some projects in the guest room and lounging around, reading, napping, or watching movies. On Saturday and Sunday nights, we went downstairs to our friend’s condo to hang out, play with their new puppy, and get in a few rounds of cornhole.
I haven’t posted the past few days because I haven’t really felt like it. I’m kind of hashing out some thoughts and have been trying to enjoy the evenings without too much technological interruption (I’ve been doing great with staying away from the TV during the week!). Instead, Casey and I have been going for evening walks and I’ve been listening to music and cutting quilt squares for one of a couple quilt projects I have going.I’ll definitely do a bump post tomorrow, but then it will probably be another few days before I post again while I try to get inspired and put some good words together.
