My Mum came to visit this weekend and we had a great time! We went to a couple of our favorite shops on Friday and then drove up to Philly to see my sister, where we spent all day Saturday. I'll share more about all that tomorrow, but today I'm going to share a special surprise my Mom left me that started my week off with unexpected joy.
When I opened my Advent Calendar for today, there was a special little treat in there. When I first opened it, I was like, "what the heck is that?!" Then I pulled it out and instantly my week was started well...
When we were in Philly, we went to the Christmas Village by City Hall, which included a tent for Kathe Wohlfahrt, which is a German company that makes all sorts of amazing ornaments and Christmas decorations, etc.
I saw this little buddy and thought he was really cute. I never expected for him to be mine, but Mom snuck back when I wasn't looking and picked him up for me and then doubled her sneakiness by putting him in my Advent Calendar for today.

He lives at my desk at work now and I'll smile every time I see him. Finding him really made my day and I'm so thankful for such a thoughtful Mom!

Having just had a wonderful time with my daughter, I really enjoyed reading this post! Bravo for your mom! I have a very special teacup my daughter sent me for my birthday, and it makes me smile every morning.
