Lucketts Christmas Design House

On Friday morning, Mom and I headed to Lucketts to see their Christmas Design House. Although their Design Houses are usually a little over the top for me, it's awesome to browse and be inspired.
I really like the hanging... things. Hm, I'm not sure what to call them, but I like them lots!
Front door... my Mom wondered at this point if Dad would allow her to use pulled back curtains on their front porch and I said probably not.
I love the chair in the corner!
The second room we went into looked like it had been designed by the White Witch of Narnia. It was all whites and very sparkly.
If it was in my budget, one or both of these deer would have come home with me.
Other side of the White Witch's room...
Awesome vases in a cabinet...
I thought these benches were really cool and someday if I have an amazing log cabin out in the wilderness, I might get some just like them.
The White Witch may have had something to do with this bedroom too... it was wintry, though the bed linens were quite light (except for the faux bear!)...
And there was plenty of sparkle and glitter. I'm not much of a sparkly glitter girl, but I really loved the adorned branches in the vase at left in the photo below.
I thought these map bottles were really cool...
I loved this candle holder and the neighboring lamp, which is finished with capiz shells.
An awesome door (or set of doors?) on the way out...
We also went to Chartreuse and Company, but for some reason I didn't take any pictures there. They have the house on the property decorated for Christmas this time of year and the second floor of the main barn was open this time. It was awesome up there!

I got prizes at both places, as did Mom, but I'll share what I got another time as this post is already pretty long.

If you are a NoVa resident and like what you see here, I highly recommend a visit to either or both of these places. Here are links to their websites: Lucketts Store / Chartreuse and Company.

Oh wow! My daughter and I stopped at Lucketts when she was here visiting. I just love wandering around. I always get so inspired. We also stopped at On A Whim right outside Lucketts. Have you been there? We loved that.
Thanks for sharing the pictures!
