LSNED 2010

LSNED stands for “Learn Something New Every Day,” which is a journal “class” I took last year from Shimelle.com.  The beauty of this course is that you pay for the course the first year and then she continues to send you the prompts year after year.

I’ve already begun to prepare my journal, which is good because the first prompt will be in my email inbox tomorrow.  The course goes through the month of September and focuses on being present each day and, as the name of the course indicates, learning something new every day.

Last year I used a half page size (8.5x5.5) and created the pages as the month went along.  This year I’m using a quarter page size (4.25x5.5) and I’m preparing the pages in advance.  I’ve selected some cool papers that mostly go together and will put those on one side of the page with the day of the month and then the other side will be prepped with paint for journaling.

I’m hoping to get the whole thing prepared tonight so it will be ready for my first entry tomorrow.  I’ll be pretty proud of myself if I can accomplish that!
