I got my wedding photos today! I took pictures of the box and all the wrapping and the unwrapping, but of course I was having problems with my computer at work, so a more elaborate post about that will have to be done tomorrow.
Tonight I came home and worked on the dining room a bit more. I moved stuff out of the corner and pulled all of the paintings/photos to be hung out of the box and discarded the box... well, it's waiting next to the door, but I promise I'll bring it down in the morning! The room is actually nearly finished now- decluttering was the major step! I've got to hang the paintings and such, which I'll do very soon- meaning as soon as I can get the "okay" from the Hubby about where I want to hang them. And then there are a few pieces of furniture I'd like, as well as a large mirror, but those things will have to wait until a little extra cash comes in. I'll just be glad to have it clutter free!

I'll be glad to have the guest room clutter free too, but unfortunately this is what it looks like now:
Yeah, you guessed it, I just moved a lot of the stuff from the dining room into the guest room. But here's my logic: if it's in the guest room, I can close the door and not look at it every day. You may think I'll close the door and never look at it again, but I promise that's not going to happen. This guest room is going to serve a lot of purposes, but at this time, it's serving the "storage room with a door" purpose. This way I can enjoy my clutter-free dining room when I walk through my front door everyday, but I'll also be able to work bit by by at making the guest room all those things I want it to be... guest room, office space, craft work/storage space, and so forth. Of course the rest of the rooms in our condo need work (decluttering and beautifying) as well, but hey, I'm taking my time and doing it right... plus, all this working so hard will make it all the more gratifying in the end! Not to mention giving me something to do besides snack when The Boy is at work later than me or at school until late into the night!
