The guest room...

Well, the work week may have ended when I left the department at 4pm, but I was not done taking care of business. (Yes, that's a lame way of putting it). My sister is coming to stay the night so that tomorrow we can move her stuff from storage in Fredericksburg, VA to her new place in Philadelphia. You may remember a photo of the guest room from a few days ago. The bed was piled high with stuff and of course more got added since then. Well, as I am going to have a guest tonight, I thought it would be nice to clear off and make the bed. She'll appreciate it especially because for the past few weeks she's been sleeping on a blow up mattress. So I came home from work and immediately got to work, which included reorganizing the office space and putting things back on shelves. I purged a bit, and although there is a lot more decluttering and organizing to do, I actually got a good start. Most importantly, the bed is ready for comfortable sleeping.

Please note last night's project (post below) hanging above the bed. I'm not sure about the height, but eventually I'll have pillows with shams that may be a little taller and more substantial than the ones on there now. Plus, the Hubby pointed out that if someone wants to sit up in bed, they don't want to be hitting their head on the frames. I agree. It sucks when he's right, but he's a man, so I guess I should get used to it. ;)
