Nemesis Revived

Guess what happened today?

The TV repairman came.  And he fixed the TV.

It’s been 23 days since it’s been working and our DVR was, quite understandably, 100% full.  It would have been more full than that, I’m sure, if more than 100% were possible.

I’m not sure how my husband went without the TV for so long, seeing as he loves it so much and all.  I suppose it’s because we had a few vacations.  Oh, and he was able to watch his favorite shows in 8 minute increments on the computer.

I wish I was kidding.

What I wish even more is that we’d been without it for 28 days, because that’s how long it takes to form a habit, right?  He could have been cured forever of spending all his free time watching it!

Ha, yeah right!

Aw well, it was grand (and quiet!) while it lasted and we were blessed that it didn’t actually cost that much to get it fixed.  The best part, though, was spending so many days coming home and getting straight to being productive, making dinner or playing in the guest room or doing whatever else is better than wasting away in front of the TV.

It may not have been 28 days, but I’m thinking that’s a habit worth sticking to.
