The New Year is just hours away. In the quiet moments that mingled among the preparations and festivities of the last couple weeks, hopes and intentions for 2013 have started to take shape in my mind. And excitement has taken root. There is so much possibility in the next 365 days.
Looking back over the last year, I am only more encouraged. Even when I was overwhelmed, even when there was heartache, there was growth and thankfulness. And I soaked up so much of the good stuff into my heart, letting it swell with even the simplest of daily pleasures.
So it is with a full heart that I look back over photos of 2012, sharing some here as lovely little pieces of the year.
And with an eager outlook I will watch the ball drop later tonight, welcoming the New Year with a kiss for my husband and celebration with my immediate family, and many blessings sent out to my loved ones for 2013!
