Whatta man...

Before my wedding I went to a "Slumber Party" with my sister and aunt. It was a fun, though sometimes incredibly awkward, time and I would totally go again, although most of the stuff is too outrageous for me. However, I did get a few modest items, including a box of scratch off cards. I wasn't really sure what to expect from the cards, but thought it would be fun to add a little spice and variety to our romantic relationship. I gave Hubby the cards as a stocking stuffer for Christmas.

There are 52 cards, 26 for him and 26 for her. You could do one each every week, but we picked weeks ago and kind of just let things happen when we had time and energy. (I'm trying to be vague, so hopefully no one is uncomfortable). Of course the cards for the boys are a little more sexy, while the cards for the girls are more romantic.

Anyways, Hubby has been talking for a few weeks about how he has to do his card for me. I wasn't anxious and was hoping to have it be a surprise when he finally pulled it off.

So this morning I went to go to my car for work and saw this little love note in the key bowl by the door. I thought it was sweet and wondered if a love note was what the card was for. Even though an "I LOVE YOU!!!" on a Post-It is simple, I think it's very sweet and sentimental. It made me smile. Then I got down to my car and found this... a second love note on the window...
And then about ninety more spread about the inside...
The posties on the inside ranged from sweet- like "I love pretty much all your food" (darn that red spaghetti sauce!)- to the risque, after all it is a box of sexy scratch tickets. And no, I'm not giving an example of a sexier Post-It. You're welcome Mom.

Even though my Hubby spends a lot of time at work and sometimes seems to love his car more than he loves me, I know that I'm number one on his list and that he loves me (everything about me) more than anything in the world. It's a beautiful thing to have that be mutual.

Happy Friday! Yes, I know it's only Thursday, but for me it's Friday because I have taken tomorrow off to fly home to VT for the weekend. I am so excited!
