Back to Lucketts...

Last time Mom was down for a visit we went to Chartreuse and Co. and on our way there saw another store we knew we had to visit called Old Luckett's Store. Well, this past Sunday during her visit, she and I and Grama and sister all went back for another visit.

They were having a Design House this time and it was beautiful. In a little breezeway outside the main design house there was an amazing black and white set up that included the two pieces below. Great inspiration for my guest bedroom.

In the design house the inspiration continued with shells by sinks...

And lots of great bottles...

And some great stamped canvas pillows, as well as some canvas wall hangings that I didn't get a photo of. These acted as inspiration for a project for my master bedroom.

And then there was this piece out on the porch. If I had money right now to use on awesome furniture, I'd own this in a heartbeat. I love this piece- the colors, the design work, and of course the fact that it reminded me of my wonderful honeymoon in St. Lucia.

In the other building, which plays the part of their main store, there were other things that caught my eye as inspiration for other projects.I was already getting motivated to make some major changes in the condo and the visit to Luckett's and talking with my Mom put my motivation and inspiration into overdrive. I've got a few projects lined up and lots of ideas brewing. I've started a "design journal" and have already got plenty of things to paste into it. And of course I'll be sharing on here as things move along.

Tomorrow I'll share photos of my prizes from the weekend. Most of them are from Mom, but I also made a purchase on Sunday.
