Hodge Podge Hump Day

Phew! It's been one of those days. Not that I really know what "one of those days" means, but I think today might qualify.

Because I don't have a particular topic to discuss or event to share, I'm just throwing together a hodge podge of randomness in order to have a post.

Hmm, I suppose that's not much different than most other posts on this blog. But anyways, here's some LAIKI (Life As I Know It) randomness from me to you:

I made a recipe last night that Ryan (from This is Reverb) posted at Pioneer Woman Cooks yesterday. He calls it "monkey bread," but it's the same as something my family and I used to call "bubble cake" or something like that... maybe "bubble bread," I don't know, I just know it was "bubble" something. Anyways, the photos of his made my mouth water so I knew I had to make it.

So I did.
And it is DEE-LICIOUS.
The first pic is the top, where bites are kinda crunchy, and the second is the bottom, where things are gooey and moist. Both are as said above: DEE-LICIOUS.

Last night I also completed a journal page that I've been thinking about for weeks. It felt good to finally get my thoughts on paper. I always have a lot of thoughts tossing around in my head and journaling really does help.

Speaking of "tossing," the journal page deals with juggling. I feel like a lot of times I throw too much of what I want to do/be into the air, when really I should focus on a few things at at time before trying to be and do it all at once. Does that make sense? I hope so.
Finally, a quote I enjoy from an e-mail I got today:

"Be the kind of woman that
when your feet hit the floor each morning,
the devil says, "Oh crap, she's up!"

Blessings and Happy Hump Day!
