Usually my thrifty shopping consists of hunting for housewares and home decor items. However, my aunt and my sister have had great luck in the fashion sections of various Goodwill/consignment stores.
So, a couple weeks ago my sister and I went on a search for some new digs. We tried to find the best place, which my aunt had taken my sister to several times, without finding it. We did find a new one along the way and then went to the place my sister usually goes (both were Goodwill stores).
These are my prizes: a pair of brown (I know they look pretty red here, but it's probably just the lighting and the way the blue wall makes them look) boots and two new pairs of jeans.
I'm not sure the brand of the boots because there aren't any tags or markings, but they look like they've barely been worn or haven't been worn at all. The price was $9.98, but imagine my delight when I got to the register and found out they were half off. So, about $5 for some boots that are practically brand new... I can't wait until it's Fall so I can where them!
These were pennies under $7 a piece and both were gently used, as is required for Goodwill. One pair of Gap and one pair of Lucky Brand, both of which are great quality.
Blessings and Happy Monday!
