It's the first day of Fall and I find myself lacking in the decor department. I've never really desired to decorate for Fall before, but this year I'm feeling a hankering for a Fall tablescape and maybe some other festive bits of Autumn around the condo.
I've got a couple Fall spice candles, which have made the place smell great today, but I'm hoping to pick up some inexpensive (and maybe crafty assembly required) pieces in the next few days.
I'm inspired by the Pier One Fall "creature comforts" catalog and the October issue of Better Homes and Gardens. I'm thinking the waxing of some leaves and the creation of a Fall wreath are in my near future, as well as maybe the purchase of a couple owls (like the ones seen/linked in this post) and maybe some acorns, small pumpkins, and/or apples to gather in a bowl.
