First Time Fall Decor

I've never decorated for fall before. Christmas? Yes. But really, that's about it aside from my regularly scheduled decor. This year, though, I've felt the desire to add a little autumn festiveness to the condo and tonight I did so.

I started small and kept the decorating to the dining room, which actually gets enjoyed from the kitchen and the living room because our condo has those three rooms combined into a connected, open living space.

I'm not going to show the dining table yet because I am going to save that for Tablescape Thursday, but here are the shelves I also fall-i-fied:I only spent about $15 for supplies, which includes the stuff used on the table that will be seen on Thursday, and also includes two bunches of these leaves...A string of the garland seen around the candles and two packages of the pumpkins. The container the pumpkins are in below is from that estate sale my Mom and I scored big at this past summer.
I kind of wanted to do more of an apples and acorns theme, but I couldn't find much of those two things, though I'm not complaining because the stuff I did get was all on sale (50%) at Michaels and I'm thankful for that!

I think this is a great amount of fall decor, for right now at least, and I'm glad to be able to have these little extras to enjoy in my home.

Blessings and Happy Tuesday!
