This past weekend Hubs and I traveled home to VT for the Tunbridge World's Fair. We haven't been in a few years and it was a great treat, even though the Fair itself hasn't changed much since we were kids.
Part of the treat was meeting Mum's new kitty, Smudge. She has a funny face and really neat coloring and I was so glad to play and cuddle with her.

Down at the Fair we spent time watching the tractor pull from this vantage point in the Grandstand...
From the Grandstand, I could also see the area where the horses pull (as well as oxen, but not on Friday, which is when this picture was taken)...
In the cattle barn on Saturday, these sisters were cuddling... which is better than the day before when Black Beauty (on the left) head butted Hubby when he tried to pet her while she was eating!
On Sunday, we headed back to VA. It's too bad because it was looking like a beautiful day to spend in VT.
It was an awesome weekend and I'm so thankful to be able to take trips home and spend time with friends and family.I've got a bunch of catching up to do on my Learn Something New Every Day journal, plus some other projects that promises have been made about and need to get done. In the meantime, I'll be keeping house and watching the season premieres of all my favorite shows... oh fall, you ruin my watch-less-TV goals!
Aw well, as long as I'm getting stuff done in addition, it's all good.
Blessings and Happy Monday!
