I am so glad it’s the weekend, especially because of a few things I’ve been waiting for. First, though, I must tell you that Casey and I went on the hospital maternity tour last night and it was excellent. The hospital is very nice and I admit I got a tear in my eye when they showed us the labor and delivery room… holy cow, we’re having a baby!
The photos from this post are actually from last night (and they don’t do things justice). Our area got a series of wicked storms, including hail and some awesome lightning. These pics are from my ride home after the hospital tour, in between storms.
Now for some of this weekend’s good stuff. Tonight Karen and I went to see Part 2 of Deathly Hallows… the last Harry Potter movie for those who aren’t familiar. She was kind enough to wait to get back to the east coast to see it with me. It was worth the wait- a packed full movie, fitting all the most important stuff of the last book into two hours. We really enjoyed it and I’m already ready to see it again, though not until it comes out on DVD.
The movie was awesome, but tomorrow is the big show. Karen and I have been trying for years to see Wicked and tomorrow we finally get to! I’ll be back to let you know how it is… though I’m confident it’s okay to say in advance that it’s amazing!
