I took a couple extra walks today to try to get things moving a bit more. A quick one at lunch and then our “short walk” we take here around our neighborhood, which Casey says is only a mile but which I think is a bit longer than that- and not just because I’m super pregnant. It wasn’t as much as I would have liked, but the nap I took when I got home kind of dug into my time this evening.
I decided to wear my sneakers for tonight’s walk. They were quite snug and I definitely couldn’t lace them up very tight.
Good thing I’m not vain about my feet and ankles, because late pregnancy sure isn’t nice to their appearance.
It’s also good I can find pictures such as the below entertaining. My belly does not look like that to me when I look down in real life, but the crop and angle when taking a picture makes for a ginormous bump and itty bitty legs and feet. Ha, it seriously cracks me up and I’m thankful to be able to laugh at this point when I’m so ready to be done being pregnant.
I’m not sure how much my walks will help, especially since I don’t think they were extensive enough, but the exercise and fresh air felt really good, especially tonight as the weather is starting to cool this week in preparation for fall.
