Two projects for the baby room were freebies that needed a little bit of love. The first one was a rocking chair my Mom gave me, which my dad carefully scraped about five layers of paint off of before spray painting it white. My Mom then made a great cushion using leftover fabric from the crib bedding. The quilt on the back in the second picture is one made by my Grama.

The second project was a changing table we received for free from the pastor at my church. We bought two new shelves (just plain old plywood) for it and Casey spent many hours meticulously priming and then painting. Finally it was topped with a changing pad my Mom made.
The two bins are from Target – one holds diapers and wipes and the other bath stuff, including towels.

Both projects came out so awesomely and I love how they contribute to the baby’s room, which I’ll share more pictures of tomorrow!
