It was one of those nights where I should have just come home and gotten in bed to sleep the night away and wake up to a new day tomorrow. Instead I watched TV and then tried to go to bed a bit early. However, my mind was racing and I could not concentrate on my before bed reading. I realized I hadn't even looked at the Advent verse yet and it bothered me enough that I got up out of bed to look at it and read from the Bible. The verse for today, December 2, is Luke 8:18:
I'm not yet sure how it applies, though I'm sure there's a reason I got out of bed to read it.
Hopefully I'll get more accomplished tomorrow after work- like getting the creche out like I said I was going to today. Thank the Lord for a new day each morning. I'll cherish mine tomorrow.
