With this post, I've pretty much shared all of my holiday decor. It is really cozy in our condo, more so I think than it has been in all the time we've lived there. I guess there is just something about the warmth of the holiday and the decorations that come with it. The glow of holiday lights, festive smiling faces on all the figurines, and the ability to avoid the cold and cuddle up in a warm blanket, with or without a warm someone, and sip delicious hot chocolate with marshmellows.
There are some cozy someones to cuddle with adorning our bed this season. Three fuzzy bears given to me by my husband (then fiance!) last Christmas. They came with gift cards to Cheesecake Factory and they are so soft! The dinner we had with the gift cards was amazing and fun, and these little guys are a great reminder of that wonderful evening with my boy.
I've shown this little spot before, but I've added two snowmen and a runner I received from my Meme... and the clean dishes are different than before too! The runner came with four matching placemats and four green napkins. I was so happy to have the runner fit perfectly on the countertop, but have stored the placemats and napkins away for another time as my table is already set for this season.
The next thing is also from my Meme. We brought it home from VT when we came back from Thanksgiving. It had been in the box for a few weeks, so when Hubs first took it out it was a bit square shaped. But it fluffed out nicely and I love to smell it when I get home from work and open the door. The little angel is in memory of my Aunt Dolly.
I'm going shopping tonight. Hubby has a final exam and wont be home until later, so rather than fight the weekend crowds, I thought it would be good to see how much Christmas shopping I can get done tonight. I really don't have much to do, but I hope to get everything bought and ready for wrapping by the end of the weekend. After all, Christmas with Hubby is only a week from tomorrow and then I'll be headed to VT for a week! SOOO EXCITED!!!!
