So, the Brooks and Dunn concert scheduled for tomorrow night has been postponed until August 1st. Apparently one of them is sick… or if you’re a speculator, like my husband, their show didn’t sell out so they’re “extending the sale time.”
The Hubs and I are kind of bummed because we really look forward to concert days, and nights, but on the other hand I’m kind of glad to get an unexpected free Saturday.
We still plan on hanging out with friends tomorrow night, the ones who would have been attending the concert with us, because it’s one of their birthdays. However, that won’t take up the whole day like getting to the concert, tailgating, and enjoying the show does.
This will allow me plenty of time in the AM to play in the guest room and get into some reading I’ve been wanting to do.
As for tonight, Casey is at the last meeting of his International Residency class until late, so I walked to Redbox and got a couple movies. I’ve already eaten dinner and completed a project (which I’ll share next week, I suppose) and as soon as this post is completed, I’ll sit down to watch movies. After I’m done, I’ll hopefully get an entry done in my “everyday journal” before a little reading and a sleeping-in-tomorrow night’s sleep.
