Tonight, the first episode of the new season of Top Chef airs. It was filmed in DC, so it will be cool to see if they go to any places I recognize… which is doubtful, because even though I love to cook, it’s not like I’m a huge restaurant connoisseur.
I’m looking forward to the show anyways. I’ve loved it since I started watching a few seasons ago, and now that I’m even more into cooking and trying new things, it’s inspiring to watch all the awesome stuff they come up with. Not that I want to become a crazy chef like many of them are, nor do I expect to learn much by watching the show; their abilities just seriously fascinate me.
So, tomorrow night after I try a new recipe for dinner (cayenne rubbed chicken with avocado salsa), I’ll be settling in to eat by the light of the TV while I watch the first episode off the DVR list.
Hopefully Casey doesn’t tell me to pack my knives and go.
