Happy Friday!!!!!
Work was a bit better today. It didn't drag on too badly and I actually had a few tasks to keep me occupied for part of the day.
It's still kind of dreary outside and it's not supposed to get better tomorrow. Hopefully the sun will be back Sunday so Hubby and I can go to a car show. It was supposed to be tomorrow, but got rescheduled because of the chance of rain. It will probably be the last show of the year that we'd consider going to and I know Hubs is looking forward to getting one last one in before he changes back to his stock tires and the weather gets really crappy.
You can't tell, but the pants have thin pin-stripes. And I'm wearing red shoes again. Two days in a row is not usual for me, but why not? Two different pairs for two different looks. I just love red shoes. One of the captains, however, finds them incredibly entertaining and laughs at me on days I wear them. Even though red shoes are fabulous, you are bound to have people call you "Dorothy." I don't mind, I still love them- and if it's not a joke about my shoes, it will be about something else. I am not easily offended by any of it because I know it's all in good fun and I'm bound to get them back with a wise-crack later.
So even though I've been desiring a quiet, nothing to do weekend after October was so crazy, I've got plans with friends for tomorrow night and then the possibility of the car show on Sunday. It's not such a bad thing though because I spend week-night evenings at home, so it's good to get out and have some fun on the weekends. That's what they're for, right?
I made pudding for dessert tonight. I am playing on the computer in the guest room and Hubby calls to me asking what kind of pudding it is. I tell him. He says it smells good when you open the door. I go to get pudding a few minutes later and find it to be very happy pudding. Apparently if it smells good you need to commence tasting it in a smiley-face fashion. He is such a goober. But I love him a whole bunch for it!
Hope everyone has a fantastic fall weekend!
p.s. The captain and lieutenant who eat lunch with me both approved of my homemade lasagna. They had double servings each! After they were done eating they asked what else I could cook. Haha, love it!
