It's Thursday already. YAY!!!! This week has been kind of a crazy work week, even with the day and a half of sick leave. I was busy pretty much all day today, which I don't really mind because it's better than being bored, but busy all day doesn't really allow me to get to the gym at the end of my shift like I "usually" do. And I'm AWFUL about working out once I get home- commutes kind of kill any desire to exercise. So, I haven't been working out this week. But it's okay because I'll get back into it.
And I promise I'm not just saying that.
I hope. :)
So for the good stuff. First are the beautiful flowering trees that have blossomed all over here in NoVa. These are something we didn't really have growing up in Vermont- our trees tend to get beautiful in the fall rather than the spring. These beauties aren't particularly pleasant for allergy sufferers, but I love them. The dark trunk against the light pink or white blossoms is just so beautiful. This tree is in front of the department.

The second good thing is my dinner of taco salad. Oh my mouth watered just thinking about it on the way home from work. It's leftovers from last night's tacos, but I feel it's different in salad form... even though it's all the same ingredients. It was DELISH both ways!
