My Fat Cat and I had a relaxing Easter weekend!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Easter weekend! Mine was laid back and quite relaxing. I was somewhat productive on Friday, getting a good workout in and some spring cleaning done. On Friday night I went to a Good Friday church service. I went alone and that was really good for me.

On Saturday, I hung out with my sister in the morning, then after she left for work I did a work out that reminded me I have oblique muscles, and then spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing... aka watching TV even though I "should have" been reading or creating or something besides being a couch potato.

Although if I hadn't lounged so much, Gracie wouldn't have been able to come and sit in my lap and relax with me... and allow me to take pictures of her at a humorous angle that are now evidence to her nickname, Fatty, which is what Hubby calls her sometimes.This last one is her way of saying, "Stop giggling at me and taking my picture! It's not my fault my furry fluff flattens out and makes me look gigantic when I'm laying down and cuddling with you!"On Sunday I got up and went to the "Sonrise" service with my sister... Hubby slept in through that one! Then we came home and ate pancakes, her chocolate chip and me strawberry, and we watched "Yes Man." Hubs and I had already watched it on Saturday while she was at work, but it was pretty good so I didn't mind watching it again.

Hubby and I went to the second service of the day, which was the same as the first so I sat through the same thing twice. I didn't mind, though, because I was glad Hubby made the effort to go with me. Afterwards we spent the afternoon watching movies and napping and overall finishing out a relaxing weekend with some relaxing.

Today it's back to the daily grind, transcripts and all, but I'm eager to keep life moving and filled up, so I don't mind.
