The day started gloomy and dark. It drizzly rained most of the morning, and there was even a bit of thunder and lightning.
But as the day progressed the rain ended, the clouds rolled back a bit, and the sunshine made it's way through. It's still quite cloudy, but the sunshine has been making more and more of an appearance as the afternoon has gone by. And it's supposed to be sunny and warm this weekend, so I'm very excited about that.
I've got errands to run tomorrow, but hopefully I'll be able to spend some time in the afternoon outside, probably on the porch (well, balcony) reading or doodling or even just listening to the world and enjoying the sunshine. On Sunday I hope to go to church as it will be Palm Sunday. I am kind of disappointed that I haven't been more, as I've been wanting to go, but I hope a visit during a "special service" will make me more motivated to go. Of course we'll also go next Sunday, which is Easter.
Someday maybe I'll be better and will go to church on days besides those "special service" days, like Christmas Eve and Easter, but it's a bit out of my comfort zone because... well, because I don't have my Mommy there with me like I have had pretty much all my church-going life. But if church is where I'm supposed to be, I'm sure the Lord will call me there more "forcefully" when I'm supposed to be there. Until then I'm am glad to have other ways to worship and strengthen my faith, as well as others whose faith inspires me along the way.

That "feeling" you should probably go to church more often than "special" days? That IS the Lord speaking to you more forcefully. (smile) I miss having you lean on me in church, waiting for me to give you a coin to put in the plate. I'm thankful for the times we can worship together and I am so grateful you are a Christian woman!
