Yay Friday! It is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous outside and it makes me so happy! I ate lunch outside today and it was lovely.
Tomorrow I am going to Philadelphia for the day with a friend from work and her roommate. The weather is supposed to be grand and I'm looking forwarding to getting plenty of sun... and exercise. Philly is definitely a walk-around type of city.
This afternoon I went to the library to bring books back and they were having a book sale. I wandered around and refrained from bringing home a stack full, but did grab a couple.
The top book is one I picked up and walked around with and then put back at first. But I have this strange guilt after doing that, especially because I thought it was really cute and wanted to take it home, so I went back.
Is it weird that I treat books like they have feelings?
The bottom book is one I grabbed to use as an altered book journal because it has a cool patterned cover.

When I got home I had a package in the mail from my Mum. On her birthday she did a little giveaway on her blog where if you left a comment she would send you a little handmade something. It was packaged beautifully, of course, and contained a little bag of candies with a love note...
And wrapped up in pretty purple tissue was a beaded bookmark, which I assume is meant to use with my Bible. If not, I'm using it with it anyways! 
So it was a great Friday and I'm really looking forward to the weekend. I hope everyone else has as much sunshine to look forward to as I do!Blessings and Happy Friday!

A cute horsey book, so little Christie.....a beautifully patterned book to alter (perfect!) and a give from you know who--she hopes you will remember how much you are loved every time you open the Bible....and not just by her....
